This is most likely the oldest Indian Restaurant in Taipei and undoubtedly one of the, if not the. best! Great True Indian cuisine serving the international community. We used to talk about there being 2 Indian restaurants to hit – one in Chung-King Mansions in Kowloon (Hong Kong) and the other being the Tandoor here in Taipei,. Love it! Have had Business meetings, daughters 3 month old party and more. The one guy said “Scant’ Don’t know his experience but that’s not correct. Great experience any time of the year for a Date. family, or business.

Have you ever had that experience where you’re completely full but your have to keep tasting the dish? That’s what Tandoor offers. The dishes are authentic and spellbindingly flavorful. This unassuming Indian restaurant, located in a back alley of the Songshan District, has been around since 1989(l) and for good reason. Flavor. I had the butter chicken and basic naan. and could not stop eating. dipping into my wife’s curry chicken dish when mine was finished. We also had the vegetable “gold coins” with a cilantro-yogurt dipping sauce and sliced onion. The flavors are fresh, exotic and tasty. I also had a Kingfisher beer, which is an excellent, smooth lager that goes nicely with the meal. All in all, I believe this is some of the best Indian food I’ve had in Taiwan.
